LOOKING FOR: ADULT FICTION, NON-FICTION

Lucy Morris is a literary agent at Curtis Brown, where she represents commercial and literary fiction, as well as a range of narrative non-fiction. She is fortunate to work with a list of hugely talented authors, including Olivia Ford, Wendy Holden, Gillian McAllister, Chịkọdịlị Emelụmadụ and Emma van Straaten.

She is drawn to emotional hooks, evocative settings (including interesting workplaces!) and deftly woven plots, underpinned by thoughtful characterisation and sparkling dialogue.

Her current wishlist includes big-hearted family drama, romantic and domestic thrillers, and she’s always intrigued by books about books! She is not looking for fantasy or romantasy, but could definitely be tempted by a sprinkling of magic or magical realism.

Lucy would like you to submit a covering letter, 1 -2 page synopsis and the first 5,000 words of your manuscript in a single word document.
